Galaxy SMy phone's software is always up to date, but it has been quite a long time since I last updated. I believe it's nothing to do with the software update in my case, but neither does my phone have any drop or overheating. It just came out of nowhere when I was scrolling social media yesterday.

Galaxy SAt least your phone has already served you more than 3 years. You can just use it until the software update is not supported and move on to another phone. My phone is not even 2 years old, I have no other choice but to repair it. If any issue occurs again after the screen replacement, I would definitely switch to apple or whatever brand with no hesitation. Unworth to make another repair, as there is no guarantee when it will appear to be another problem again.

Galaxy STrue, I was hoping to use it for longer until I can afford another one (am still studying currently).
Anyways, I hope your repaired phone won't have this problem ever again. Not sure if your S22+ screen is curved, but if it is, the customer service staff did tell me: To really really take care of these types of phones, don't put it in tight pockets (to prevent excessive stress to the screen), and don't excessively use fast charging (to prevent excessive heat from damaging the screen). To be honest, these are so common in daily life and yet their flagship phones are not designed and engineered well enough to endure this? Why even bother offering it as a feature in the first place?

Galaxy SThey probably introduced these features because they wanted to compete with other brands, but without enough longevity testings. BTW my phone could even feel warm sometime when I was using WhatsApp/Reddit, I guess the snapdragon chip may also be one of the reasons.
Whatever the cause, the damage is done. Seems like I should never use fast charging / wireless charging again after repair.

Galaxy SHello! My S22 is so new like 1year+ and the deadly line has appeared and I was asked to pay >Rm800 to change this. I only spent few thousands a year ago to switch to this phone. This is ridiculous. Please advise ASAP.
