I've been a Samsung fan & user since S3 up until now, so hopefully somehow you'll consider my suggestion. Please bring back the 3.5 jack & let the type C do the charging, also if you can include the memory slot back for more space for our photos & videos since we don't get a free headset & a charger anymore. I also wish they would but I guess they won't. The world is changing so does the technology too, sooner or later everything will be wireless. All that we can do is to adapt these changes.
Less use of TypeC port the longer it will last (different hole), they did it on GalaxyA tab 10.1 3.5 jack with TypeC charger so it's possible. Mermory Card slot can help us save more space for photos & videos up to 1TB can compensate the missing headset & charger considering their phone price. We can be better than Apple 🍻
However those features were phased our or are still available right now. 😊
✅ 3.5 Jack REASON It was removed as the trend right now is going wireless. Also the demand right now is for a sturdier and better phone through IP ratings (dust and water resistance). So the best way to improve water resistance is reducing the holes in the phone for the water to enter.
SOLUTION You can always get a type c dual adaptor which has both ports for 3.5 jack and charging. 😊
✅ Memory Card Slot REASON Just like the 3.5 jack it is to reduce the ports for water damage. Also phones right now has a basic 128gb of memory which is a lot compared to before 8gb.
SOLUTION Actually the solution is already available as most Samsung devices here in the Philippines are dual sim and dual purpose. Either 2 sims or 1 sim and 1 microSD. 😊
✅ Free headset & charger REASON It's not just Samsung nearly all brands are removing it as a GO GREEN SUPPORT ♻️ to reduce carbon foot print and plastic.
SOLUTION Even though Samsung announces no charger and headset in the box. They still usually if not always have a free bundle of charger. While the wireless buds are usually offered on promos and pre orders. 😊
None of those reasons are legit or justified. The only real one is trends.
The phones were plenty sturdy and water proof. And wireless is popular but wired still heavily used.
Both wireless and removable storage issues leave people in bad situations when they simply don't work. Cloud is light-years from fully reliable and data is not everywhere.
Especially when they downgraded the base storage and ram of the ultra models.

Don't the samsung A52 and A72 also have no wireless charging? That means that if you were to damage your usb c port, you would have to send it to a repair shop instead of just setting it down on your wireless charging pad.
