Hi guys, I'm a Samsung S21 Ultra 5G user. Does anybody know how to change the pallete while in Dark mode while using Themes? Because when I set my phone to Dark mode I can't be able to change it, only in Default mode. I hope someone can help me as it will help me change the color to red and help reduce the strain in my eyes during the night. We may have an eye comfort shield but much better if we can change blue to red pallete. Thank you

Do you mean Eye comfort shield, or Color pallete? I can change it while in Dark mode. I'm using A71.

It's the color pallete in dark mode while using themesScreenshot_20220807-164958_One UI Home.jpgScreenshot_20220807-164830_Wallpaper and style.jpg

I think you're using a theme. You can only use color palette without a theme.

Yes, I'm using themes and I want to use Dark mode as well so that all the apps will turn dark mode also without changing the settings I already set. Changing the setting of my apps everytime I switch to dark mode will be time consuming I guess.

Hello Karllozzz,

Samsung care. We are here to help.

Dark mode changes the background colors of your phone's apps from light to dark to not only reduce eye strain, but also to make your battery last longer.

You can turn Dark mode on in the quick panel whenever you need it, or you can schedule it to turn on at specific times—like turning it on at sunset and off again at sunrise, or during a custom preferred time. In the evenings your phone is more comfortable on your eyes, with no effort on your part.

To set a schedule for Dark mode, go to Settings > Display > Dark mode settings

Hope you find this answer suitable to your query.

If the case is the theme not applying on dark mode, it's because they still don't support Dark Mode till now.

About this, you have to change back to the default theme (Stock theme) then you can do such. (Currently using light mode and not actually using colour pallete since I have a theme applied)

Yup2 but when you use themes while using light mode some apps with a 'default set up' (background color being displayed depending on your set up either light or dark mode) follows the light mode set up of the phone as well. Because it will be time consuming if you always change the app background display each time you use the application.
