Meanwhile, Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a curved display , punch-hole front camera and quad rear camera. It is the first official Samsung S-series phone to integrate an S-Pen. Besides that,Galaxy S22 Ultra features Vision Booster technology. It enables the screen to intelligently adjust brightness throughout the day. Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus 5G have the same cameras , triple rear cameras (50MP main camera , 12MP ultrawide camera and 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom) and a single 10MP front camera. Besides, Galaxy S22 Ultra has quad cameras (108MP main camera, 12MP wide camera , two 10MP telephoto cameras , one with 3x optical zoom , and the other with 10x optical zoom) and a 40MP front camera. Galaxy S22 series have the most advanced low light camera in a Galaxy. This is the biggest highlight for the series. Samsung introduces Nightography for better photos in the dark. The phone uses multi-frame processing. It captures several shots and uses AI to merge the best frames without noise and blur . We can get crisp and clear low-light shots.
For Galaxy S22 Ultra, it is built with a 2.4um pixel sensor (Samsung Largest pixel sensor ever) and Super Clear Glass lens (main camera) which helps us to take clearer night time photos or videos without flares.

In Malaysia, we will get an S22 series phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. I think many of you are happy with the Snapdragon processor instead of Exynos , isn’t it? Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus come with 8GB RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256 GB. Galaxy S22 Ultra comes in 8GB RAM (128GB) and 12GB RAM (256GB , 512GB). All of the models do not have microSD support.
Galaxy S22 has a 3700mAh battery and Galaxy S22 Plus has a 4500mAh battery, they both support 25W wired fast charging, support wireless charging speed up to 15W , and provide up to 4.5W of power to another device. Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. It supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging such as S22 and S22 Plus. However, similar to the S21 series, S22 series do not come with a charging adapter. We have to buy our own.
S22 series runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1 . Samsung promised to provide five years of security updates and 4 major Android OS upgrades for the Galaxy S22. Thus, It is good news for those who would like to use this phone for a long term.

S Pen
Many Note series fans have been waiting for the Galaxy Note 21 series since last year. Samsung has embedded the Note’s DNA throughout the S22 Ultra this year. This is really good news for the fans ! During MWC 2022, Roh **bleep**-moon, head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Experience announced that the “ Galaxy Note will come out as “Galaxy S” Ultra from now on. So, Note Series fans no need to worry any more.
The S22 Ultra’ S Pen is 3x lower than the latency of Galaxy Note 20 Ultra which is just 2.8ms. It is really good news for S Pen lovers, as it offers a drawing and writing experience that is similar to a real life pen.

How to choose ?
Galaxy S22 is light, easy to handle with one hand. It is the cheapest among the S22 series. However, it has only a 6.1 inch screen. If you don’t need a big screen and less of a budget, you can go for Galaxy S22. If you need a bigger screen for entertainment or work, Galaxy S22+ or S22 Ultra will be your choice. If you are a photography lover and need a S Pen for productivity , Galaxy S22 Ultra suits you more.
