Samsung S series been facing green line on screen issue. However Samsung disregard this issue and feedback from customer. Only focusing and promoting for the latest S series. 

Alot of users have experienced this problem but Samsung only asked customer to bring to service centre and charge them a good amount for screen replacement. If this is Samsung customer service and after sale care, then please do not get Samsung phone again

Poor quality and disappointing customer service. Trying to earn customer money by selling low quality product. I have lost my faith in Samsung product.

This will be my last purchase from Samsung. Please think before getting any phone from Samsung again.

Was this completely from a non physically damaged phone? If so contact their support and mention it popped up by itself. They will ask for photos and then if they accept it they will replace for free but you will have to pay for workmanship fee.

My fren had the same issue. Went to customer service ask to pay alot , for diagnostic and in the end screen replacement. Ended up paying alot of replacement. Both of us nv had any issue w previous Samsung phone, only w this series. Waste of time and monet

My relative had a issue with the s22+. She contacted support online and they replaced for free for her. Did yours have physical damage on the phone?

same experience for me after an update. mine had a line.

software updates needs disclaimers now

your best bet is to send it to a service center and hope they do some sort of service recovery.
I was quoted labour fees for about $50 onwards. with unknown charges if they find more problems.

but the deal breaker is the phone will be out for 1 week onwards
who gets by 1 week without your phone?
might as well spend the fees towards a new phone.

Need my phone therefore can't send it to service centre. Unless they r able to fix it on the spot. No physical damage

I just went to Samsung service centre today for the same problem, green lines on screen after update. They quoted me $305 for repair!
