Resolve: For those with S20+ might want to enquire if there's free One time repair. Hope the problem won't come back.
I am impressed with Samsung S20+ features and screen.
After using it for a year plus and without dropping (I have always keep my phone in bag with casing and screen protector. ),the screen suddenly have lines after update. I tried to factory reset it but to no avail. Worse, it started to glitch then the phone turns all white.
I went down to Samsung Singapore as Samsung India are offering one time free replacement for S20+ lines on screen. They rejected it as it worsen to all white screen. It all started with green lines then worsen to white screen probably cause by the updates and the solution is to change screen . I have old Samsung phones that are still working now but the S20 series gone after a year plus is really disappointing.
My all white screen with lines cannot be change for free even though I am only following the recommended updates.
This issue is extremely common for the S20 series. It's very likely a hardware defect affecting the whole series. My S20 also suffered the same fate, and so did many other users on this platform, and around the world. Unfortunately, there has not been any official explanation or comment on this issue as of yet. I'm afraid your options may be limited.
Mine is S21 Ultra and have pink lines appearing out of the blue. I take care of all my phone and even my Note3 & S8 are still serving me. Well, it shows their premium product arent that premium after all.
Hmmmm, need to start thinking of a new phone soon. No it not going to be Samsung.
