S21+ start to have a vertical green line after firmware update on 21 Jul 2023

My S21+ had a firmware update on 21 Jul 2023. After that it start to have some faint green line. Few days later, the green line become very obvious and is a bright green vertical line. I see that there are a few complaints about this issue before and seems like s20s get a free repair. Has anyone encountered this issue and repaired for free for S21+ since this is caused by their software update?

My S22 Ultra also faced the same fate of bright white but on top left hand side after I performed an update on 21st July. And if you look closely. Especially bright red colored icons will be turned into dark red on affected area of the screen. My unit warranty expired in June 2023. But I still made and appointment to get it fixed. And service centre was kind enough to fix it for free. Waiting to collect back repaired unit. Will update again when I collect

Just collected repaired S22 Ultra. Screen replaced together with battery since they are apparently glued together. And the case skirting.. All good for now. They provide 1 month warranty from replacement date

My S21 FE also has the same issue after the July update. For me, the problem occurred after two weeks. I've contacted the service center, but they have asked me to replace the display.
