Galaxy SHello Daysssssi,
Thank you for letting us know your experience with your Samsung Galaxy S21 while using camera zoom is blurred specifically at 30x.
We have a lot of tips and tricks just for you, so don't worry; we are here to assist, offer quick fixes, and provide solutions to the issues with your device.
As a background, the Galaxy S21 series cameras offer enhancements on some previous features as well as a few new ones for you to experiment with. You can select standard photo options like Night mode and Pro mode, or use the new Director’s view and Dual recording when shooting videos. The new Portrait mode allows you to play around with filters when taking selfies and the improved Single take mode offers different styles of photos to suit your preferences. With so many features to choose from, you’ll enjoy creating, personalizing, and sharing your favorite content.
Following are basic steps to try in order to troubleshoot and find possible solutions.
A) Ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.
Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen Notifications
B) Reset the camera app.
Open the Camera app > and then tap Settings > Swipe to and tap Reset settings, and then tap Reset.
C) Clear the Camera App Data and Cache.
Open Camera App Icon > Press the "i" button, scroll to Storage > press "Clear data" and "Clear cache".
D) Clear Cache Partition
Step 1. Turn off your phone.
Step 2. Plug in the USB cable via PC or Type-C earphones (in case its USB-C to USB-C).
Step 3. Then press and hold Power and Volume up buttons.
Step 4. Release the power button. When the recovery screen shows up, release the volume up button.
Step 5. Navigate to and select Wipe cache partition (Volume up and down is for highlighting options and power is to select).
Step 6. Navigate to and select Yes.
Step 7. Press the power button to select Reboot system now.
E) Run the Self-Diagnostics under Samsung Members app.
https://www.samsung.com/ph/apps/samsung-members/
Step 1. Run Samsung Members and select Get help on the lower half of the screen.
Step 2. Tap View tests located under Diagnostics.
Step 3. If you would like to run Camera of the Diagnostics checks, tap Camera.
Step 4. Your Galaxy phone will then run through the checks.
Step 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the check.
Step 6. When necessary, you may need to manually run or interact with the corresponding function.
Step 7. If preferred, you may check specific Diagnostics and tap them directly to begin.
Step 8. For individual diagnostic checks, you can view your results after the check is complete.
F) And you can select below features to use with your Samsung Galaxy S21 device camera.
1) Single take.
Single take on your S21 will let you snap several photos at once. You can set the timer between 5 seconds and 15 seconds depending on what you’re trying to capture. You’ll also be able to choose the type of photos you want, like Wide/cropped shots and Portraits. As with previous versions of Single take, you’ll get a short video clip with your new photos, too.
2) Director’s view and Dual recording.
The Director’s view and Dual recording features work together to give you a streamlined video of yourself and your surroundings. Not only can you record where you are, but you can capture yourself with the selfie camera to share reactions with your viewers. Director’s view can be used by itself as well if you’d like to record your environment only.
3) Live Focus and Portrait mode.
The Live Focus feature on previous Galaxy devices has been replaced with Portrait mode on S21 devices. Both versions are similar, but Portrait mode offers new effects and filters to truly enhance your photos and selfies. For example, the Studio filter will add a brightening effect to your subject to help contrast the background, and the Spin filter will create a spinning effect around the subject. Portrait mode can be used with videos as well.
4) Zoom
The Zoom feature, known as Space Zoom on the S21, lets you focus on a subject from far away. The S21 also includes a stabilizing AI option to prevent your zoomed-in images from becoming blurry or shaky. The result is a detailed and colorful photo.
5) Night mode
Night mode is perfect for taking bright, illuminated photos at nighttime or in dimly lit areas. This feature won’t use the camera’s flash and will instead capture extra light using the sensors. You won’t need to worry about your photos looking washed out or dull, and no matter what you’re capturing, your pictures will come out crisp and clear.
6) Pro video
Pro video allows you to record smooth, blur-free 8K-quality videos. You can also adjust which mic on your phone (front, back, etc.) will record audio if you need to capture specific sounds and dialogue. Once your recording is complete, you can show it off on a social media app or your smart TV.
7) Super Slow-motion.
If you want to capture and slow down fast-moving actions, you can use the Super Slow-mo feature. It’ll create a high-quality, slow motion video at 960 frames per second, so you can see every detail of the action. You can also adjust how Super Slow-mo captures the scene by controlling the camera with Manual mode or letting the camera detect motion with Auto mode.
