Galaxy SI have been trying to solve a problem with Samsung since May 2024. After software updates, a vertical line appeared out of the blue on the screen of my 2 year old phone. I contacted Samsung Brasil and they informed me this was an issue with Samsung software updates and claimed they were willing to change the screen withou charges for phones out of warranty because they understood it was a problem caused by Samsung. However, they had a list of phone models they were willing to fix, and for some unknown reason, Samsung S21 FE 5G was not on the list, even though it presented the exact same problem as the other phones (such as S21, S22). They said I had to pay for the service because they would not do it.
Now I have 6 lines on the screen of my phone. My boyfriend, who bought the exact same model a few months after I did around August 2022, has now showed me his phone has a line on the screen, exactly how my phone started in May, when it completed 2 years of use. I have read inumerous Samsung customers sharing the same story online, feeling disappointed and angry with the lack of support the company had offered. I am gathering all the information I can to sue Samsung Brasil, because THEY simply ruined my phone and want me to pay THEM almost USD200 to have it fixed.
