Hi everyone,

I recently updated my Samsung S21 FE, and since then, I’ve noticed a white line appearing on the screen. There’s been no accidental damage to my phone, and I didn’t even charge it during this time. The white line is affecting my phone usage significantly.

Has anyone else experienced this issue after a software update? Is there a way to fix it without any cost?

Please provide me proper support to get this fixed at free of cost.

It a faulty on the samsung phone screen but samsung will not take responsible. I face the same issues, direct after phone update, green line appear. After I send to Samsung service center, they simply accuse user fault. now the line getting worse. I think we should take this case to tribunal because it is very clear samsung dont want to take responsible for thier mistake. In other country like India, samsung took responsible by replacing the screen for free. They should do it alsonfor Malaysia user

True indeed. Samsung will not take the responsibility on this. This issue is happen worldwide and affected a lot of Samsung user. However in Malaysia, they (Samsung) just asking us to change the screen at some cost bare by ourself. It is funny but it is true. Happened to me.

Samsung Malaysia is not vocal about this unfortunately, and that's a shame.
You either need the display replaced (not repaired) at a rather hefty price, or get a new phone. No software updates can solve it.

I have my S21FE screen replaced now, same issue as yours. So far no issue but I hope it doesn't happen again.

Guys, this happened to me as well last week..took it to Samsung repair center at Sunway pyramid and they said they have provided the diagnostic report to Samsung and Samsung will advise the next action. The problem is, they didn't give me the copy of the diagnostic report to me.. so eventually, if and when Samsung contacts me, I won't have the original copy from the service center for me to compare it against Samsung's report. Besides that, the guy told me I have to fork out RM860 to replace the LCD screen. Still waiting for Samsung's reply.. anyone already lodged a complaint at consumer tribunal? If yes, please share the details so that others could cite your complaint and add our own complaint to it.. we should take this to the tribunal..it is not fair that we should bear the cost of repair when the issue was caused by Samsung's software upgrade.

 I have the same issue on my ViVO x50. They offer me free screen replacement. Go buy vivo, they are more concerned
