Just created an account here to create this post.

Just thinking that it might help with getting free screen replacement.

On 26/4/2023 after the recent update, i got 1 white vertical line across the screen.
Fast forward today, in total there is 3 white line.
I don't know if the white line is going to increase or not.
I did some search and it looks like to replace the screen will cost RM700 like that.
If the white line appears after i dropped it or something, sure. But no, i did not drop the phone.
I charge the phone, a new vertical white line appears. Great quality. 10/10 wouldn't buy Samsung product again.

Welcome to Samsung Malaysia.. Here Samsung don't care about our issue. The green/white/pink line is normal for Samsung phone. This is because of the Update that making the phone becoming too hot and destroyed the screen.

I have multiple time complaint to Samsung, yet nothing happen. Even going to service center is waste of time. Samsung did not guarantee if i choose to pay to change the screen (RM 900) this will not happen again in the future.

After 3 month if the warranty expired, and the screen line appear again, they just ask to pay to change to the new screen. Really stupid suggestion by Samsung..

Guys, this happened to me as well last week..took it to Samsung repair center at Sunway pyramid and they said they have provided the diagnostic report to Samsung and Samsung will advise the next action. The problem is, they didn't give me the copy of the diagnostic report to me.. so eventually, if and when Samsung contacts me, I won't have the original copy from the service center for me to compare it against Samsung's report. Besides that, the guy told me I have to fork out RM860 to replace the LCD screen. Still waiting for Samsung's reply.. anyone already lodged a complaint at consumer tribunal? If yes, please share the details so that others could cite your complaint and add our own complaint to it.. we should take this to the tribunal..it is not fair that we should bear the cost of repair when the issue was caused by Samsung's software upgrade.
