Right after October 1st update green line started to appear on the screen. Service center says it is not related to the update, it happens because of wear and tear. Only been using this 2 years without even a scratch and now they telling to replace the screen. We don't spend thousands for a phone to keep replacing parts when samsung mess up with their updates. 

As far as I see there are thousands of users got the same issue. What we should do is go to Samsung stores and show our phones with green lines to the people who is coming to buy phone and prevent them buying

Yes, it's happened to me. Also, when called customer service, they told me replace the LCD..

Just 2 days after the update (I'm in Thailand and it just dropped on my s21 ultra green line showed up. No scratches, no falls, always with a case, this is clearly related to the Update, Samsung has to take responsibility for this! Flagship phone, and happened to a lot of people, never going to buy Samsung again!

Make sure not to buy any phone that has Samsung displays, because other manufacturers uses Samsung displays as well and it's a problem with the display

I also got the green line issue after the update on S21+. Before this never had this issue

Same problem. I use Samsung S20+. First software update is 2 faint vertical lines around the middle. Subsequent update, which i shd never have fallen to it again, was a deep vertical green line.. with the 2 faint lines disappeared (its not screen problem after all). I wont buy samsung again, unless they reach out to me to explain. I will buy iPhone from now on. Goodbye Samsung.

Yes better to move to another phone. And make sure they don't use Samsung displays as well
