I have S23U and S21U.
S23U bought preorder, not updated since day 1.
S21U bought secondhand today and update to latest, also today.
S23U Dex working flawless, mouse and keyboard detected and works in Dex.
S21U Dex only issue is it didn't detect mouse and keyboard.
Mouse & Keyboard: Xiaomi Wireless Keyboard & Mouse model WXJS02YM with 2.4GHz receiver.
Both keyboard and mouse
Setup:
S21U/S23U placed on dock. Connected to external monitor by USB-C with charger connected. Mouse connected to both phone via usb slot on the dock.
Phone > Dock's USB-C > HDMI > Monitor
Mouse > 2.4GHz receiver > Dock's USB slot > Phone
Same setup yet S21U fail to detect mouse and keyboard.

No, USB debugging wasn't enabled on both devices. Both have identical settings.
Strangely enough, after waking up today, both mouse dan keyboard are now recognized by S21U in dex, thus I'm replying to you using both peripherals.
