S22 Ultra and August 2024 Update

I installed the August 2024 update to my S22 Ultra on Tuesday (13) and by close of the day it had trashed my phone.

My Wifi will not connect to any network, and I cannot now access internet, apps or others.

Spoke with Samsung Customer Tech team and after many tries to resolve this matter we had to factory reset the phone. Did not make nay difference so now it has to be repaired. 6 months outside the 2 year Warranty, now what a surprise.

Ordered new S24 Ultra and it said delivery 15th August but on confirmation of order, the delivery is now 19th August!! 

Not happy as phone was working well and no issues before update. Annoyed is not the word.

I guess s23 ultra. S22 series not yet recieved aug update.

It's the reason I asked because I don't receive any update yet on my S22U.
Plus, for S23 model, it's a one year old + model, so judging from the statement, it seems it's a S22 model.
Curiosity at its highest😅

Similar thing happened to me. Right after the update, lost data connection. Wifi still works. No 4g or 5g. Only very spotty edge. 

 

In the settings , I completely lost the "allow 4g,4g LTE, 5G," option. The update seems to have taken away those connections completely. I just got done paying off the phone too. Not sure what to do now.

I installed it on the day it got released in Italy which was the 12th of August and yeah I can relate to what you said, my phone is not the same as before, it really stutters and lags especially in games which were totally fine with the July patches but also in normal conditions like closing and opening apps. I also had problems with the 120hz refresh rate, for example, in Youtube it does not work anymore and i have to restart my phone and the app multiple times, and this just makes the user experience really annoying and laggy. (and its not even the app fault because it worked perfectly fine) Hoping Samsung releases a fix soon for all for this, cause i don't have either the money or the need for a new model.
