S22 Ultra Selfies Appear to be Overprocessed

Issue
I bought an S22 Ultra yesterday and when I tested the selfie camera at the mall (tested 4x), there were no issues.

However, when I went home and took some selfies, the photos appear different. My photos look overprocessed and smoothened. Some details were intact although some were lost due to the processing. My skin also turned orange-ish.

My appearance in the camera preview looks good. The issue starts after taking the photo - the selfie image in the gallery looks accurate after taking the photo for 1-2 secs then it will suddenly change/process right before my eyes.

I have never seen this issue on my previous phone (S21+).

Solutions That Were Tried
- All beauty effects were turned off / set at 0.
- Selfie color tone has been set at Natural (although the selfie is still overprocessed even when set to Bright)

OneUI Version
The issue has been observed before and after I updated to OneUI 5.

Is there perhaps a setting that can be toggled off or will this be fixed in a future update?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for these tips. I tried to wipe cache partition and made a reset on the camera settings, but the overprocessing still appears (including the change in skintone), although details now appear to be mostly intact. Is it possible that this is just how the S22 Ultra processes selfies in various lighting conditions? (e.g. AI stuff)

Yes. I first noticed the issue before upgrading to Android 13. After upgrading, it is still the same. Is it possible that this is just how the S22 Ultra processes selfies in various lighting conditions? (e.g. AI stuff)

Downloaded this app and turned off "Auto HDR." It worked! My skintone is now true-to-life and not orange-ish anymore. The overprocessing has been reduced, though there is still some left (which I hope will be addressed in future updates).

Thank you very much!
