Just got this phone a week ago. Not much usage.

With a SOT of 2h 31 min, my phone went down from 96% to 37%.

This is consistently happening; even after using power saving and dark mode.

I am a student, and I need the battery to at least run a full day or two. The amount of drainage is truly ridiculous.

Also, a little funny as compared to my old phone, the A31, is that apps don't auto close at night, much unlike my A31, which produced longer battery life than the S23 Fe.

I absolutely don't want to hate the S23 FE; I love it. It is my first ever Samsung "S" series phone and as a camera enthusiast, the camera is also mindblowing, and better than the Pixel 8 (I tested my friend's Pixel 8).

As I am writing the post, I can watch the battery roll down to 30% from 35%, albeit I have just started writing barely a minute or two ago.

Ridiculous. Any workarounds?

Recently, I acquired a pre-owned Samsung S23 FE device, which is an original Samsung product. However, I have encountered a significant issue with the battery life of the device. Despite being updated to One UI 6.1 and having the latest June security patch, the battery drains rapidly. Specifically, the battery level drops by approximately 3% or more every 10 to 30 minutes when the screen is active. I contacted Samsung support, and they adjusted certain settings, but the problem persists. It is unclear whether the device is unable to handle the demands of One UI 6.1 or if there is a potential issue with the battery itself. However, the diagnostic report indicates that the battery is functioning normally.

Facing the same issue, screen on time very low. Needed a phone that last through my working hours. Very disappointed with S23 FE battery life. Samsung please look into it. Previously had M51 was very satisfied with its battery life.

If Samsung is unable to fix the battery life performance of S23FE, they might lose out on their loyal customer base and their future prospective customers.

I think i have solved the issue with battery draining fast.... Turn off all adaptive features... This includes adaptive battery... Adaptive power saving.... Adaptive battery protection and adaptive brightness...

Instead of using these features... Use the modes and routines feature.

Results are...  8 percent of battery consumed from 1 hour 40 minutes of screen time ( actually it could be 2 hours of screen time but im being conservative)   overnight drain from 7 hours of sleep 2 to 3 percent

Huge improvement from an overnight drain of 8 percent.

I have used so many phones in my life, but after purchasing the Samsung S23 FE, I feel like I made a huge mistake. The battery backup is like that of a 4-year-old phone, and the Exynos processor is just trash (proven again). The phone also sometimes has touch issues, where the touch screen doesn't work at all. Additionally, the phone feels like a room heater after 7-8 minutes of usage. I purchased this phone 7 days ago and am very disappointed. I want a refund or full service. I promise never to buy Samsung phones again; they have broken my trust. What should I do now? Should I sell this trash and go for another phone?

Hi. I am still using the S23 FE now. The battery of the phone still- isn't great, but it is liveable. I have identified the apps sucking battery of the phone and turned the setting in question taking battery. I think you should too continue using the phone and see what happens.
