Hi,

Does anyone else here encountered the AOD being too dark in S23 phones after the One UI 6.1 update? I can't also see the settings to adjust the AOD brightness manually. Pretty sure I have that option before when I tap the clock in AOD, the settings for manual brightness shows up. Now, it doesn't show up even searching in the settings app. Appreciate if anyone can share a workaround to resolve this, if there is any. Thanks in advance!

Yes mine too, and the option to adjust has been removed. I reported the issue, but got a general advise in return that does nothing to resolve it. What I also found out,  is that it's brighter in the morning just after the aod activates

Sadly, with the introduction of One UI 6.1, the Always On Display now utilizes the system's Auto Brightness to automatically adjust its brightness. As of present time, it is no longer possible to manually alter the brightness level.

I've seen a video on YouTube from a tech reviewer and according to him, Samsung is already aware of this issue and is planning to address it via an update on the Goodlock LockStar app estimated to arrive next week. I really hope that the said update will let us manually adjust the AOD brightness again since the current auto brightness setup makes the AOD not useful at all, especially when not in a well-lit area.

Update: You can now edit the brightness of the AOD.SmartSelect_20240402_114408_Galaxy Store_1000000678_1712029448.png

I still can't see the option to adjust the brightness in LockStar. Do you know how?
