If you want the big size, can zoom 100x choose S23 Ultra, if you want the smaller size. Just take S24.

For future proofing and if you have the spare cash then by all means the S24U. If you are looking for a still capable all rounder from Samsung and don't mind the slightly 1 gen gap with some bargain then S23U. To be fair for general use both can pull it's own weight, the 8Gen2 in the S23U is still mighty fast, camera... well that depends on whether you like 5x uses or thr long 10x zoom and the color of course is down to preferences
