Why is it like this?
I'm taking a video at a cafe with a warm lighting setup using the 5x telephoto lens.

If it wasn't obvious, the motion blur when the video stabilization's turned on is horrendous, and when I turned it off, it got a lot better.
I think even if it's off, there's still some stabilization on it, but at least there's less blur.

Here's a photo using the wide lens for a more accurate lighting.

Is this normal?
Is there a new issue with my S24 Ultra that I already sent to a service center twice?
Is this what I spent 85K for?

I mean, sure, I have this DJI gimbal that I can just use to help better stabilize my videos, but really?

What res were you in? I tried at low light 2760K warm (I have an app controllable light temp smart bulb). At 1W ouput. 8K 30 was unusable. 4K 60 was worst. 4K 30 was best on 5x lens

I usually use FHD 60 since UHD takes too much space. I haven't really tried it on Pro Video yet though. But this seems to be a problem with previous models too as I searched it up on Reddit. More regrets on getting this phone.

60fps seems to kill the light. I have yet to try a specific lens (with largest aperture if that would help). Looks like a software implem so should be addressed by an update. I don't experience it though.

Yeah 60fps really does that. I recently learned how shutter speed and ISO works on Pro. Lower shutter speed means taking less blurry photos and smoother videos in exchange of lower light, which I guess, is why 60 fps is darker. The highest shutter speed I can set while on 60fps is 1/60, but when I set it to 30, I can go up to 1/30. Brighter but less smooth video. ISO is basically just how sensitive your lens to light is.20240508_123836_1000000508_1715143116.jpg

I also noticed here that the ISO reaches numbers I can't set manually when I set it to Auto. The lowest it can reach on Auto is 12, and the highest is 8000. Meanwhile, setting it manually only has 50-3200 range. 1715143519767.jpg1715143519773.jpg1715143519785.jpg1715143519793.jpg

Unfortunately, in the digital world ISO tries to mimic the analog. Which should not be. It's what we got so just make the most out of it.
