What do you think is happening to Samsung?

They now lack innovation and creativity, no longer pushing the limits of technology, and they no longer value customer's satisfaction. The recent S25 series release is an example of Samsung's underwhelming performance.

Gone were the days when i will feel excited and cant sleep waiting for the galaxy unpacked.

Also, no more in store freebies when pre ordering like before.

I'm pretty sure their sales will go down cause only avid samsung fans would buy their s25 line up and prolly those who wanted to upgrade from s22 or s23 series other than that i doubt if they will gain new customers. Especially that majority of Filipinos would prefer iphones for their cameras.

Not to mention how they downgraded the s-pen.

It's a huge disappointment. Early, camera comparison videos shows that Samsungs camera isn't as good as last years flagship phones from other brands.

If they will not improve on S26 then i bet their smartphone business will really hit hard.

Not sure why they seemed to focus most in SW AI. But there was feedback that they're AI progress was lacking. It looks like the S25 series is a stop gap rather than an actual product release. We'll see what the fall out of their actions bring.

We'll see. Honestly, it's the most disappointing S series in all of samsung's history.

Oh, I won't say that just yet. I'll see how it goes after I receive and use the device. Of course, each of us have different use cases.

Just wanna share that i already got my s25 ultra last tuesday. The build quality is still good but if your coming from older flagship samsung phone you'll notice some areas where samsung is cost cutting like the samsung name at the back is no longer glossy glass but looks like a sticker, the spen looks cheap and smells cheap, the camera lens hmmm not a fan.

As for the performance i must say it was really good. Its snappier and one ui 7 is just so good. Camera? Is has better processing but it still have some sky banding as well as that white cast or cloud like filter. Video? Well it has greatly improved but still far from iphone level and although the video quality is great it still feels and looks like its a video taken from a phone if you know what im saying. And lastly, the natural language search in the settings doesn't work in my unit and i dont know how to activate it. PS: the gallery search using natural language isn't working that good in my unit as well because most of my pictures from my old phone didn't tagged the people in the photos so the AI can't know wo im referring to whenever i do a search. There is no longer an option where i can tagged or identify the person in the photo so the phone would know who are those people.

I got mine, too. Wednesday though. I love the display!!! Better than the S24 Ultra. And works well with TG screen protectors or it could be just the one I use. I still have to take it through its paces in photo terms. Apps wise its better at the games I play. Graphically and heat management wise. One UI7 on Android 15 is refreshing. With the little time I've had with the device I'd say the upgrade was well worth it with the trade. I didn't get any freebie though 😅

I agree, heat management has been improved. So, how was your battery life? Here's mine today.

Here's mine. I was driving back with data and location on from 12 to 5pm yesterday. Screen was off and Android auto was snubbed since I have Waze in the car navi.

Actually the battery pretty holds up well. But i don't know for some reasons my battery drains faster today.

I get 4.5 to 5.5 hrs of SOT from 100 down to 22%
