The S22 Ultra gets its first publicly visible build of One UI 7 with build FYD5. It contains the April security patch, and the February Google Play system update. This build has the thicker battery icon and new split Quick Settings and Notifications. Also, some Galaxy AI features like Photo Assist and Drawing Assist are available. All the universal One UI 7 core features like Nearby Devices and Live Notifications are presen.

Yes, the oldest officially supported device also gets a One UI 7 build as well. Not surprising considering that it’s scheduled to receive the update next month. As for details, it’s been spotted with build HYD5. The build features the same April security patch and Google Play system update version of February 2025. The S21 series lacks any form of Galaxy AI features, just like previous builds of One UI, but has everything else intact. Live Notifications, blur effects and Nearby Devices are present here.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting this major overhaul, and the rollout has been very slow.
