Samsung S20 Plus screen problem after updating to One Ui 4

I got a software update notification for One UI 4.0 and Android 12. After the update, my phone screen becomes bright white color and starts blinking. Since morning my phone become unusable.

Most of the S20 series users who have updated to One Ui 4.0 are having screen issues. This is a software issue and not a hardware issue. So I suggest waiting for a patch update released by Samsung.. you should've read the reviews before updating to One Ui 4.0!

Yes, I should read reviews, my mistake. For the last  10-11 years I have updated any update received from Samsung blindly without any problem. This is the first time I am facing this issue. Next time I won't do the same mistake again. however, My phone is fully unusable as my screen becomes total white. In that case, what is the solution, and how do I update the patch if Samsung releases it?

Oh, I have no clue then. Try holding down your volume down button and power button until your phone switches off and samsung logo appears. I hope it fixes it at least a little. Otherwise you have to go to their service centre

I am facing this same issue. Yesterday I did the software update and today my display is not working. It is showing full white screen. Please give some solution to this issue. Model nameSname is S20 plus. @samsung

I am having the exact same issue. S20+ is unusable ever since update, white-green flickering screen.

Yes, I had the same problem and thought it was a hardware issue. I visited Samsung Service Center in Plaza Singapore and he told me its a harware issue and buy a new one. 

I believe him but lucky I was not in hurry to buy a new phone. 

So the staff was not updated?

This is bad service.

I faced the same issue. It began with some flickering after firmware update and the next day the whole screen turned white.

Go to service center and they say will cost me SGD367 to replace the Screen and battery.

Hi All,
Samsung India has circulated an notice to all the authorised service centers to replace S20Plus Display and Battery at free of cost starting from 11th July 2022 till 31st Dec 2022
(even if the device has crossed 1yr warranty period). Please reach out to any nearby authorised service center.
