Hi MonkeyAnjo,

You can achieve a long exposure shot by using Pro mode! Check out this guide to learn more: How to take Long Exposure Photos or Capture Light ... - Samsung Members

Is there a link for that?
I just do not want to use an nd filter because it is somehow expensive.

That is only for night time.
Sometimes i want to do long exposure at day time to take a snap of running water, ocean or skies.

This one can only be used with an nd filter.
The other midrange phones from other brands have these long exposure camera feature where you can do a long exposire during daytime.
I wondet why samsung could not include or add this feature.

In place of a filter, we've given users more control over how their shots are taken with Pro mode.

If you want to take long exposure pictures in the sun, what you have to do is:

1. Lower the ISO. Having a high ISO will result in a brighter photo.
2. Adjust the shutter speed to 1/15 ~ 30. This will dictate how long the shutter will stay open.

You can't really set the aperture of a Galaxy device's camera as it doesn't have a physical diaphragm (like traditional cameras), so your exposure is dictated entirely by your ISO and shutter speed settings, including the lighting you have.

While I understand that having a filter makes things easier, I do believe that using the pro mode gives you better control over how you want your pictures to look. Plus, learning how to tweak your photos on the go is always a great skill to have!

Hope this helps you out!
