Hi,
I just did a data transfer via Samsung smart switch from an S9 to an S21. All other functions and features work except sms messaging. Data from old phone was transferred but I can't seem to send or receive messages. But other messaging apps like WhatsApp amd Telegram work fine. What could the issue be ?

The most likely reason is due to a bug in the One Ui 4.0 update on your S21. The One Ui 4.0 is very buggy and has lots of issues. This can most likely be the reason to your problem but it will be fixed with a patch update released by Samsung in the future.

HI, How did you end up resolving this issue? I had the same problem using smart switch whilst changing phones from S9 to S20 . Technically support is hopeless and all toruble shooting efforts have failed. I suspected it was a bug. But now I reverted back to my S9, the bug came across and the sms function doesnt work to receive or send messages
