At first, I was thinking mine was an isolated case...but upon searching looks like it's not.
Samsung is indeed the worst of its kind out there if we compared/bracket them as to their prices.
Recently, I updated my Samsung s21 Ultra 5G to the latest UI and same as my Flip 4 - after restart (completed update), my S21 wont turn on anymore - from a perfectly fine to a useless phone real quick. My flip 4 on the otherhand - the finger print sensor wont work anymore nor can be disabled.
Both were 1-3 yr old phones.
So what happened? I DECIDED to bring them to the authorized service center and boom 32k worth of repairs for the s21- which is a gamble because they were not even sure what happened.
Contacted the on-call CSR and only told me to avail discount and will get in touch in 48 hrs - now it's almost a week and nothing from them.
Bottomline on this, may it be fixed or not - will never purchase any samsung product anymore and will spend the rest of my life encouraging people that it is defnitwly worth their money.
Worst nightmare you can get from your treasured phones.
