After I updated my S23 Ultra to UI 6.0, my Facebook messenger app keeps crashing. Even I re-install it, force stop and all, yet until now it keeps crashing, and there is a delay in poppong the chat head so, I won't know if there is a chat to me unless I open the app.

Is there someone here experience the same thing, after updating to UI 6.0?

Looks like many have been affected. Been seeing this plenty lately. In my case gmail in work profile and bpi in secret folder. Gmaik used to work but started crashing yesterday. Hopefully an app or web component update helps. Other suggest clear cache. I've never done this yet

Hi TintinTamayo and dulber! This might be a bug and the best thing to do is to wipe your cache partition, especially if you experience issues after a big update. Doing so clears out temporary files from your phone's operating system. It also cleans up any extra files from apps you have already uninstalled. This can help resolve some issues as it clears out potential bugs. It's completely safe, and here's how you can do it:

  1. Turn off device
  2. Connect your device to a computer
  3. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons
  4. Once the Android recovery screen shows up, release all buttons
  5. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Wipe cache partition"
  6. Press the Power button to select "Wipe cache partition"
  7. Use the Volume Down button to hover over "Yes"
  8. Again, use the Power button to select and confirm your choice
  9. Wait for the system to wipe the cache
  10. Reboot your device like normal

Good luck and let me know if this works!
