Galaxy SI am absolutely outraged by the persistent and unacceptable issue with Samsung’s devices. Once again, I am facing the same problem—this time on my S21+—where a bright green line has appeared on the display.
This exact issue previously happened with my S21, and now it has returned on a completely different device! How is it possible that Samsung continues to sell defective products without providing a proper resolution?
Last week, after my phone’s battery drained completely, I noticed a faint green line on the screen when I recharged it. Since then, it has worsened significantly, now resembling a laser alignment tool used in construction. This makes the phone difficult to use and is a complete failure on Samsung’s part.
It is widely known that this green line issue is a recurring defect in Samsung’s OLED screens, affecting numerous users worldwide. Despite countless complaints, Samsung has failed to acknowledge this as a manufacturing defect or offer a permanent fix. Instead, customers are left dealing with an issue that should never happen on a premium device.
I have been a loyal Samsung customer for years, but this experience has completely shattered my trust in the brand. If Samsung refuses to take responsibility and offer free screen replacements for affected users, I will have no choice but to abandon Samsung altogether and advise others to do the same.
I demand an immediate response outlining how I can claim a free repair or replacement for this manufacturing defect. If this is not addressed promptly, I will escalate this complaint further.
I expect a clear resolution—not excuses.

Galaxy SFrom what I’ve seen in the community, many users have reported this issue, especially after software updates or battery drain incidents like what you described. Some were able to get free screen replacements if they went to an authorized Samsung Service Center, depending on their region and warranty status. It might be worth checking with them, even if your warranty has expired—some countries have extended replacement programs for this defect.
If Samsung doesn’t address this soon, they’re going to lose a lot of loyal customers. I really hope they step up and take responsibility. If you do manage to get any resolution from them, please share it with the community so others can benefit too!
Wishing you the best with this—keep us updated!
Cheers,

Galaxy SThis is a real defect for my S21 FE... One line I got after a software update... Then another and now, I have 3. I have taken extreme care of my phone and it is not my fault.. If my screen is not fixed by Samsung, I know what phone I'll buy very soon... My phone was supposed to last longer.. And it wont be a Samsung for the long future.. Customers deserve better... I suggest Samsung contact all of us, as you should... Please do us justice...

Galaxy SHello Samsung
You messaged once and then went completely silent.
Are you actually interested in proceeding, or was that it?
