Galaxy SSorry to hear that, hardtolove, about your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra having issues with Edge lighting not working and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused you.
Before trying the below recommendation, ensure that your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is up-to-date with the latest software updates.
Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen instructions.
Restart your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra > then Switch from "Detailed" pop-up style to "Brief" and Edge lighting will appear.
From Settings, tap Notifications, and then tap Notification pop-up style.
Tap Brief, and then select from the following options:
-
Apps to show as brief: Select which apps you'd like to view as brief pop-up notifications.
-
Edge lighting style: Select your preferred type of Edge lighting with color and effect options. See the next section for more information.
-
Color by keyword: Add important keywords and assign colors to receive personalized notifications.
-
Show even while screen is off: Enable this option to show Edge lighting even when the screen is off.
