After updating to One UI 5.2, my fold 4 has been having bluetooth connection issues. My Bluetooth buds, Samsung and Bose buds keep disconnecting, also Watch 5 Pro keeps disconnecting.
Intermittent wifi issues, can't see WiFi networks even though I can see them on my S21 Ultra or Macbook. S21 Ultra has not been updated to One UI 5.1
Kept resetting Network settings to see if it will solve but no. Last resort is a factory reset. Anyone else having such issues?
I hope this is just a software rather than hardware issue. I have Care+
Hi, I think factory reset will only temporarily resolve the issues. The issues may resurface back again. Just like for my case yesterday, after the Samsung staff factory reset my Z Fold 3 at the service centre because of my 2nd mic not working through Diagnostic test, my 2nd mic started working again after the factory reset.
This morning, I tried and the 2nd mic was still working. However, just an hour ago, I tried doing the diagnostic test again and my 2nd mic is failing again. So I would suggest not doing the factory reset. Due to the factory reset, my WhatsApp chat history couldn't be recovered, as I have forgotten the password used to encrypt my chat history.
Without the password, I permanently lost my 9 years of chat history. 😪 If u decide to factory reset, ensure that u remember the passwords for apps that cannot be recovered through reset means and WhatsApp is one of the apps that cannot reset password once u have forgotten it.
And this time round, I will arrange for a home repair already, since I haven't utilised my 2 times of repair-at-your-doorstep and I think u should too.
