Dear Samsung team,

I recently visited a Samsung service centre in Singapore to seek assistance for a number of green and pink lines on my samsung smartphone screen, but was informed by the staff that I would need to pay for the screen repair. Given that this issue is widely reported by other users and seems to be a result of a manufacturing defect, I was disappointed to learn that the repair would not be covered.

As a long-time Samsung user since 2011, I trust in the brand's commitment to quality and customer care. Therefore, I kindly request that Samsung offer a goodwill repair or complimentary screen replacement for my device. I believe this would be a fair resolution for an issue that appears to be caused by no fault of the user, and that this would reflect the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality.

Please let me know the next steps and whether you require any additional information or documentation from my side.

I have the same green line issue as well and they refuse to cover the repair as it is out of warranty.

I am writing to bring to your attention a recent issue I have encountered with my Samsung device following a One UI update. After installing the update, a white line appeared on my phone’s display. Upon visiting the Samsung service center, I was advised that the screen needs to be replaced, and I was quoted a replacement cost.
As a loyal Samsung user since 2014, I have consistently chosen your products for their quality and reliability. It is disappointing to face such an issue that appears to be software-related, and I believe this should be addressed under a complimentary service.
Given the circumstances and my long-standing loyalty to the Samsung brand, I kindly request a complimentary screen replacement as a goodwill gesture. I trust Samsung will stand by its commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence.

I'm a Samsung fans since it first launched the first galaxy series. But now I'm such disappointed with the screen color lines issue after updated the os to the latest version. I already having this issue with my previous galsxy S9, Note 10 and now the S22 ultra. I went to the service center in Bedok mall on 19/5 to get a solution on this issue but the staff told me the only way is to change the screen which cost $54.50, and this kind of "discount" price will end after May. What a ridiculous answer ??? Now the issue of the phone was cause by your os after updated, not by the user Samsung still want us to pay for it? It is totally unacceptable! As I know Samsung India already have the screen replacement for free for S21 &S22 series but not started in Singapore yet. Furthermore, I still haven't get my phone back until today. Samsung seem like want to force the users to buy their latest flagship I guess 🤔. My next new phone will definitely not Samsung anywhere, GOOD BYE SAMSUNG.

Green line appears on my S23 after ONE UI 7 updates, after only using it for like 1 year? Really is pissed off.
