I recently encountered an issue with my Samsung Fold 4 where it fails to open out completely flat, despite there being no visible obstructions like dust or debris. Additionally, this problem has caused the inner screen protector to bubble.
I've attached some photos for reference. As you can see, the hinge appears to be clean and free of any debris.
I've done some research and found that this seems to be a common defect reported by other users.
I've heard numerous stories of Samsung voiding warranties unnecessarily, which adds to my concern.
Before reaching out to Samsung for repair, I wanted to ask the community here for your insights. Do you think this issue would likely be covered under warranty, given its prevalence as a known defect? And if not covered, could anyone provide an approximate estimate for repair costs in the UK?
