Hi,

Sharing here and if others have the same issue as me. I recently updated my phone to new android and oneui version. After a couple of days, I noticed (twice it happened), that there is a pixelation(?) on the bottom half of my scree. After a couple of days, it was 3/4 of the screen. It happens when my phone is resting and it comes back to normal after a few minutes. I noticed that this happens when my aod appears.

But earlier this morning the entire screen was pixelated. Reported the issue the other day. So frustrating since my phone's just more than a year old.

Sharing here. Fortunately, this only happens whenever my phone's idle and I can still use it so far.IMG-7bac71b2a20cfd4a4c87e2a9a229963d-V_1000001487_1670808680.jpg

I experienced that twice, when dialing *143# to check my load and during a call. I noticed it only happens when my phone signal becomes 2G and the bottom half of my phone blinks like that.

It never happened again on my phone, even when signal becomes 2G and hoping it won't happen again. Btw, I factory reset my phone after updating to One UI 5.

That's a Display IC chip issue. By any chance, did you pushed the phone to its limits? (Causing it to heat up)

Not really. I am mostly a utilitarian user as well, I don't play heavy games, etc. In terms of charging, I always use the battery protect option as well. So meaning, this won't be solved by the next os update?

You can ask other A52s 5G users who recently upgraded to latest OneUI if they experienced the same thing, we'll never know maybe just like sa S20 series issue of green line, it is a universal thing. But on the other side, you can have your phone checked by Samsung service technician to be able to determine the possible root of the screen issue.

Thank you. Decided to post the incident here first so I can also know if this is an isolated case. Will definitely have this looked at at a Samsung service center.
