Please note that the above unofficial list is prepared based on the company’s previous track record.
Samsung has a trend when it comes to rolling out updates on their devices. Firstly their top tier Note and S series devices will receive the update. Following them would be previous year’s flagship S and Note series devices. And then finally we will have the mid-range and upper mid-range series devices receiving the update.
Samsung will follow the same tradition this time around too and we will see the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 rolled out to the S20, S20+ and the S20 ultra devices. The Note devices for 2020 are not yet out there but they will run upcoming One UI 3.0 out of the box in future. And as soon as the S20 series receives the update, the upcoming Note device will also do so.
Following on will be 2019’s flagship S10 series devices and Note 10. Once they are updated, then Samsung will start pushing the Android 11 to the M series and A series devices that are eligible for the update. Unfortunately, this is the end of the line for the beloved Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 because they have already received two major Android updates(Android 9 and Android 10).

Samsung devices only receive two major OS updates. That means, if your phone arrived with Android 9, Android 11 would be the last major platform update that it receives. So, all the devices running Android Oreo or Older OS are not eligible(technically) for android 11 update. However, some devices also receive a single major update only. So, based on this theory we have prepared the above unofficial list. Take this list with a pinch of salt.
Conclusion
As of now, nothing can be said about what Samsung is going to bring to the table with the One UI 3.0 as nothing much is even fixed about Android 11. Every feature out there in the preview release of Android 11 is uncertain, and we don’t even know which one of these will definitely make its way when Google officially launches Android 11. Once Android 11 features get clearer, we will have a better idea as to what Samsung will do this year from the software side for their smartphones.
