So I was excited about this but it turned out it was not what I was hoping for. We still can't set a video background at least for now and still can't customize fonts.
At first I thought at least that we can combine colors but we can't. It turns out it just shows the before and after of the background (not the case in the reminder which makes me think that maybe each native app has a different team working on it). And there are limited color options to choose from.
Imagine if you can just go to your gallery and pick a video and set it as a background for calendar and/or reminders app as how you would for wallpapers
You can now go to gallery and set a background for calls, reminders, and calendar alerts as you would for wallpapers after updating to OneUI 6.1. Clock is not included.
