General Device & Battery Care Tips Across Galaxy Series:

1. Screen & Display Settings: Reduce screen resolution, refresh rate, and brightness, especially when high performance isn't required.

2. Performance Modes: Use power-saving modes (like Light Performance or Battery Saver) to reduce processing load and extend battery life.

3. Connectivity: Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC when not in use, and deactivate features like Nearby Device Scanning and Wi-Fi Assistant to reduce background power drain.

4. App Management: Put unused apps to sleep, disable automatic app updates, and limit background data sync for apps.

5. Always-On Display: Customize or disable Always-On Display to save battery.

6. Battery Protection: Enable Battery Protection mode to limit charging to 80% or 85%, which helps extend battery lifespan.

7. Charging Practices: Avoid charging to 100% or letting the battery drop below 20% to reduce wear on the battery. Use wireless charging when possible.

8. Location Services: Turn off GPS when not in use to save power.

9. Sound & Vibration: Lower sound and vibration levels to reduce battery usage.

10. Auto-Brightness & Edge Lighting: Use manual brightness settings, and consider turning off edge lighting and screen savers.

Additional Tips for Specific Series:

Galaxy S Series (S24, S23, etc.): Explore adaptive power-saving settings, and use Dark Mode to save power on OLED displays.

Galaxy Z Fold & Z Flip Series: Take advantage of ultra-power-saving options and Smart Transfer for data migration to prevent unnecessary battery drain.

i agree most of things except 4 and 8, i think auto background sync must always on, and so location service, you never know when will your device got stolen and the only way to track your device is thru GPS, perhaps you can limit which app that doesn't need to always sync and which app that don't need GPS service

and additional advice from me, upgrade your SIM card to eSIM, this is mandatory because eSIM can't be removed from your smartphone, eSIM will give you more time to tracking your phone when it get stolen

and for 7, wireless charging generate more heat than wired charging and also charge slower than wired 45W, so my advice use wired charging but turn off fast charging, ONLY use fast charging in wired charging when you in hurry to reduce heat
