Disney+ Hotstar app not found in Smart TV

Does anyone in Malaysia have trouble finding the Disney+ Hotstar app on their Samsung Smart TV? The streaming service was released but I can't find it in Apps on my Smart TV. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I am using Samsung TV RU8000, really regret... Malaysian Tizen Store (smartTV apps store) still no any improvement, still full of un-wanted apps...Samsung please bring-in Msian fav. apps like DisneyHotstar, And UnifiTV apps .....

Hi, you can change the region of your TV and download the app from the US or India region.  This works while waiting for the disney hotstar app to be published in Malaysia region.  You can refer instructions here: https://youtu.be/iTlnpxoVtog

The problem is. When change region, then some other app will not be available. Eg. Viu are not available if we change to India or US 😭

That is why I don't like this solution. We need native App for Malaysia .

I have tips how to move Hotstar app to Malaysia but you need USB drive.

Change tv region to US, then you download any app until tv storage full (this is for make Samsung TV can install app in USB). After storage is full install Hotstar app and choose your USB. After installation finished open app for while until it load everything. Disconnect USB from tv and change back to malaysia. Setup your tv first. After finished setup insert your USB to tv and Hotstar app will showing in Apps.

Cons: you need to disconnect USB everytime you done watching or app will auto delete because this app is unavailable in Malaysia store. I don't really recommended this step because if you fail keep app in tv you need to doing this step again and again.

Until now no any reply from Samsung Malaysia regarding DisneyHotstar availability...they just silent...really regret buying Samsung TV...poor after sales service...

When will samsung wake up. Tried to search Disney+ Hotstar app and still not available. Wake up Samsung

today just sign up Disney plus and try to install the app in my Samsung tv and can’t find the app. I go in here try see if any one have same problem. Oh is actually Samsung not update it to our region. It’s been three months since the service announce, I am so disappointing!

mean while I can only use phone app to mirroring to tv. It run ok, full hd, but no 5.1 surround.
