I didn't expect to get contradicting results from a single device and was just using two native apps - the weather app and Bixby:

Here, the weather app (at the top, background) says it's hazy, but Bixby (the foreground) says no, it isn't hazy right now. Hahaha..

Is this just the weather app or Bixby had a hand in it? I use a subscription weather app that's only 500+php annually. Unfortunately, no app can return accurate small area results as I doubt there is avaialable data. So accuracy will not be as commercial GPS grade.

The bigger image is the native weather app. The smaller is bixby

At first i've noticed that i have a different location on the weather widget which is supposed to adjust according to the place where i am in. So i tapped on it and set the my current location.
Then i asked bixby if it's really hazy and (to my surprise) it said no, it isn't hazy right now.

I couldn't verify where the weather app got it's information and I can't change the weather sources of both apps.

I find it kinda weird to be given contradicting info. It's just one device, one location, both Samsung native apps, both given access to precise location.
I didn't notice the inaccurate location in weather app widget back in S23.

It's not a big deal, i'm just pointing out that it's odd.

I think you still have to select the source of data for the weather app. Belay that. It's just The Weather Channel for the Widget. Now where does Bixby get his data from

Bixby got the info from the weather channel.

I suppose you have to choose one. I never use Bixby unless I want to laugh. And like I said the Philippines do not have enough stations to report weather data down to comml GPS level scale. I think we only have a handful of doppler and some old reporting stations so it's always inaccurate unless you are in close proximity to the scanning areas.
