On the new Bixby update,

I think i now get what this is for:

These keywords are used to tell Bixby that you want to end your current conversation and it's ideal when you're not holding the phone because you are working on something else while you talk to Bixby. Bixby is supposed to go back on standby for the next wake-up (ie hi Bixby, or Bixby) phrase. It will go away as the phone starts to turn off the display.

I was expecting these words or phrase would also make the Bixby chat bubble go away especially if i talked to it while watching, reading or just looking at the unlocked phone. The older version of Bixby simply excuses itself after each command and sometimes i didn't want it to go away yet because i still have something to say. But now, i want this new Bixby to go away from the display but it won't unless i touch the display ahaha.

As of today, i think "dismiss" and "goodbye" don't work here. Saying "dismiss" would make Bixby assume you were trying to dismiss an alarm, and saying "goodbye" doesn't stop Bixby from waiting for continued conversation.

The working cue then is "that's all" - if it would understand you aha😂

Update December 23 2024:

Okay the word that is effective at letting Bixby know that you want to end the conversation is "stop".
Here:

It seems like it is also the universal word to tell Bixby when you want to stop the alarms and music even when you can't use the "talk to Bixby without wake-up" feature. You can also say "stop it" to Bixby to do the same things.

Hey there,EllisKai! Your experience with Bixby shows how much potential it has to improve everyday tasks. The feedback about dismissing the chat bubble during multitasking is super helpful!

My Bixby doesn't excuse itself. It just disappears 😂 And doesnt it really acknowledge you when you wake it up? Mine just listens for a new statement/command after waking it up

It doesn't say anything when you summon it. It can be set to play a beep when summoned.

The old Bixby would say "yes?" when you didn't say anything after summoning it.

You also have to say the ending cue for Bixby to say a closing statement (if it would understand you).

iOS is better. what made you switch? Is the Samsung a hand-me-down?
