there's a hidden glitch in the Samsung Members app for real. when you tap your recent post there's a secret glitch in it. if you pull down to refresh the post, the views will be increased from 1 to 20 if you swipe or refresh it 20 times. Samsung please fix the bugs!
That's not a bug - that's the system registering the refreshes as a new "view". That's how pretty much all view trackers work in most other sites 😅
So just as a fun little teaching moment, when it comes to measuring the impact of a post, what we really look for are how many people comment or react to the post, or how many people click on the links. That's how we know people REALLY paid attention to the content - because they took the time to talk about it.
Views are great, but they only really measure how many people have seen a particular piece of content, not how many people actually read it.
