Have you tried porting your number?
How was your experience?

I did. From Globe to Dito. Dito is so affordable.
But I encounter OTP issues with BDO and Security Bank.
I can't receive any OTP from banks

Hello there! Porting is generally a permanent means of moving a phone number to another provider, as the old account associated with the number will be closed. Compare this to forwarding, where the number keeps its old account association, but is forwarding to another number or person instead.

I'm happy with Smart's services right now, so I haven't tried porting.

Me too. I just subscribed to their sim-only plan and i have no regrets.

They let me choose my prefix and last 4 digits for my number
Sim has coverege 30 minutes after approval
Service is good (5g almost always)
Clearer voice call quality compared to my previous network
