One UI 7.0 update has been paused globally

Looks like we can really wait for One UI 8.0 liao. With so many betas, they can miss out a bug that causes users not able to unlock their phones. Probably the slowest Android manufacturer to roll out Android 15 to all eligible models. S25 series can rejoice, being able to enjoy 3 months of One UI 7.0 solely for the series 😂

So, just accept it that phone manufacturers could deliberately limit the features of a capable phone, so that the newer phone models don't get short-changed. This doesn't apply to only Samsung. It applies to Apple as well. When they could actually release an Always On Display update for the 13 Pro series, but they chose to make it exclusive for the 14 Pro series.

I'm not hyped at this point already. I would rather stay on One UI 6 forever. I like its interface and consistency

Yeah same, after having waited so long for One UI 7.0. The excitement doesn't seem there anymore. If it releases, it will just be another update for my Z Fold 3, because I don't get to have any of those latest AI features. It's just the name change from Android 14 to Android 15.

One UI 7 doesn't really give me the vibe of Samsung tbh. The interface is more like Oppo, Huawei, Oneplus

The icons have changed and the quick panel has changed to somewhat like iOS UI. I preferred the old classic quick panel in One UI 5 and before.

For now, have to wait and see for the S24 series. If One UI 7.0 is available for ur Z Flip 5 (if I am not wrong), will u still proceed to update?

If have then I just update lor. As long as it doesn't destroy my screen or overheats to the point a bump come back like last time

Ur Z Flip 5 should be some time this month, after the S24 and Z6 series get their updates, if the schedule still stays. If the pause takes longer, then probably will be pushed back to next month. And my Z Fold 3 will probably pushed back to Jun alr. 1 month before the launch of the Z7 series lol..
