its because of specs of the phone! Iphone and pixel are fast with updates because all their phones has flagship specs!
imagine, you implement a system that can only be run by flagship devices, then just because consumer want the update, they implement that system to low end phones.
What would happen then? thats why implementation is by schedule. Of course, flagships are the first one to have the update, the follow by midrange then lowend.
