I switch between dark and light modes based on the environment. Dark mode is ideal for low-light or night time use, as it reduces eye strain, minimizes blue light exposure, and conserves battery life on OLED/AMOLED screens. Light mode is better for bright outdoor settings, where dark mode can be hard to read, and it's also easier to read on paper-like backgrounds.
