In 2024, the Samsung Members Stars journey kicked off with an exciting virtual welcome event titled “A Galaxy of Opportunities” ✨ on June 22. Hosted by the SEAO Samsung Members team and streamed live from Samsung Singapore’s Executive Briefing Center, we welcomed both new and returning Members Stars into the fold of a vibrant community that shares a love for all things Samsung. 🥳🎉
The event was packed with insights from Samsung experts, fun video content created by Members Stars, and the launch of a Regional Storytelling Challenge that encouraged everyone to share their unique experiences with Samsung products. Plus, an interactive Ask-Me-Anything session let them dive deeper into their favorite topics and connect meaningfully with fellow Stars. ⭐️
One of the standout features of the Members Stars program this year is the “Power-Up Samsung” workshop series. These exclusive quarterly sessions are designed to sharpen the Members Stars’ skills in writing, presenting, public speaking, and videography. 💪🏻🤓
The first workshop, “Power-Up with Samsung: Unleashing Your Storytelling Superpowers,” on April 27 was led by storytelling guru Wong Voal Voal, who shared with Stars how they can boost their writing efficiency and craft engaging content. ✍🏻
Following that, the second workshop, “Power-Up with Samsung: Speaking with Confidence,” was held on August 31by Mary Jane Liao-Hung, a seasoned talent development expert who shared essential techniques on public speaking while encouraging all Stars to confidently share how Samsung products have made their everyday lives better, especially in front of live audiences. 🗣️
To wrap up the year, the final workshop led by experienced video creators and #TeamGalaxy ambassadors, Keiji and Thomas, focused on demonstrating how Members Stars can easily create captivating short-form videos using their Galaxy devices while providing their own personal handy tips on the CapCut app. 📹
As 2024 comes to a close, we’re proud to say that the Samsung Members Stars program has continued to provide opportunities to foster connections while growing and amplifying voices within the Samsung community! It has been an action-packed year and we look forward to more exciting experiences in 2025!
