As you've noticed, kusa nang nag migrate ang Samsung Pass into Samsung Wallet – an app na previously hindi available for download sa PH. But now na pwede na, I hope na Samsung will make the first move to BSP to finally integrate Samsung Pay as a payment option as well.
I have been to other countries and it was an ease for me to not having to carry my payment, transportation, and membership cards as it was already saved in Samsung Wallet. All I had to do is just Tap my phone sa terminal and then tapos na ang transaction.
I am aware na hindi lahat ng phones sa PH market merong NFC capability, and most businesses still uses cash or local e-wallets for their transactions. Small changes often go unnoticed at first, pero in the long run doon mo na makikita ang impact.

Agreed. Saksakan ng bagal ng progress dito in terms of payment. D ko alam if sa BSP ba yan or sa Samsung na hindi nila nirairaise sa BSP

Yeah, just assume that BSP will NOT allow smartphone tap to pay using Samsung Wallet anytime soon.
Kakaapruba lang nila sa GCASH tap to pay (using a Mastercard and Android phone. Source: https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/4/22/gcash-partners-with-mastercard-to-allow-tap-to-pay-f...).

In regards sa GCash's tap to pay, eventually sasali rin ang Maya to compete with them. Soon the PH finance market will be overrun by individual ewallet companies competing for userbase.
