Samsung has taken several actions in response to the issues identified with the One UI 7 update:

1. Global Rollout Suspension: Following the discovery of a significant bug that prevented some Galaxy S24 users from unlocking their devices, Samsung halted the global distribution of the One UI 7 update. This decision was made as a precautionary measure to prevent widespread issues.

2. Firmware Removal: Samsung removed the One UI 7 firmware from its servers, replacing it with older firmware versions. This action indicates a deliberate step to retract the problematic update and address the issues before proceeding further.

3. Pending Official Communication: As of now, Samsung has not issued an official statement regarding the suspension of the One UI 7 rollout or provided a timeline for when the update will resume. The company has yet to confirm the existence of the bug or outline plans for a fix.

Users who have already updated their devices to One UI 7 are advised to stay informed through official Samsung channels for updates on when the issues will be resolved and when they can expect the update to be re-released.

Really poor, what do their beta do? Keep on being delayed, never saw a funny joke as this kind of big company, what a shame, I don't see this happening in one plus or others brand, getting broken samsung this day, yet this little issue also can't solve, really speechless, totally disappointed with samsung.

Yeah, it's honestly hard to defend Samsung on this one. After months of beta testing, you'd expect better stability-especially from a top-tier brand. Delays are frustrating, but the lack of clear communication makes it worse. Other brands seem to manage it more smoothly. Really hoping Samsung turns this around soon. Users deserve better.

Only know how to sell expensive, fired those useless software engineers staff of ONE UI, who can't work just cut of those useless staff, pointless to keep them.

Understand the anger-paying premium prices should come with premium support and software reliability. But rather than blaming individual engineers, Samsung needs to seriously re-evaluate their software rollout process and improve internal quality checks. Users are right to expect better, and it's time the company delivers on that promise.

Their delayed only ruin their reputation, their not act(slow act had made them lost customers trust), samsung are the slowest delivery the update android version, shame of them.

Totally understand the frustration, but to be fair, Samsung is likely prioritizing user safety and stability by holding back the update. Rushing it out with a serious bug could cause bigger issues. It's better they pause and fix it properly rather than risk bricking devices. Let's hope this delay means a smoother, more reliable experience once it's finally released. Quality over speed sometimes pays off.

That’s a valid point, but to be fair to Samsung—they do handle a much wider range of devices globally, which makes updates more complex. While some brands might push updates faster, Samsung focuses on ensuring stability across different regions and carriers. Plus, they’ve committed to 4–7 years of updates, which is more than most Android brands. The delay is frustrating, but hopefully it means a more polished experience when the update finally arrives.

No 1 ask to sell global, why Apple can do global update but samsung can't do? What so special? One ui different region any different? Don't see any point of that, Google pixel phone why don't have such issues? Don't make me laugh to u, samsung.
