Not really. The old models offer a limited os upgrades but Samsung makes the new models ljke a55 with 6 os upgrades. Even the affordable phone now at 8k php supports even 4 os upgrades which is approximately 4 years of os upgrades. Samsung has made an upgrade here to support long usage. The highest in all brands.
