On the same day, we revealed the design of the RX 6700 XT NITRO+, some people in the far east have already shared performance figures of the card in question. Although the leaker has not shared any photos of the actual graphics card (so we can’t really verify if the card is really in his possession), he did share 3DMark scores that can help us understand how fast is the new RX 6700 XT by Sapphire.
For comparison, we are using data by Wccftech review, whose test system is equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU, the same CPU that was used by the Bilibili leaker. The review actually covers the RX 6800 XT NITRO+ which is a great opportunity to see how much faster both custom designs are.
On average, it appears that RX 6800 XT NITRO+ is 52% faster than RX 6700 XT NITRO+. What may be interesting is that RX 6800 XT has 80% more cores than RX 6700 XT (4608 vs 2560), but the performance gap is smaller thanks to higher clocks on Navi 22 SKU (unfortunately in this case we don’t know the exact clock speed for RX 6700 XT NITRO).
