Samsung Kids lets you shape a safe environment for your child to happily explore and connect with the world. With family-friendly activities that both entertain and encourage them to learn, develop and flourish, Samsung Kids helps your child safely enjoy the digital realm. With Samsung Kids you can be in control of the apps your child has access to. Your child will be able to learn through entertaining games like block coding, drawing, creating music and a lot more. Also, with Samsung Kids you can set time limits and see usage reports, so you'll know what your child is learning.
How to run Samsung Kids:
Step 1. Open the quick panel and tap the “+” button on this screen.
Step 2. Hold the “Kids” icon and and place it where you want on your quick panel.
Step 3. Tap the “Kids” icon and run Samsung Kids.
Step 4. In the next screen you can choose the option “Add Samsung Kids to the Apps Screen”. To open Samsung Kids, tap the “Continue” button.
Step 5. You have to set a PIN to unlock your device when you enter or exit the app each time.
Step 6. You can customise Parental Controls at the top right corner of the home screen of Samsung Kids by tapping on the More (3 dots) icon.
Native Apps on Samsung Kids
Samsung Kids comes with a range of bundled apps, including My Phone, My Camera, Crocro's Friends Village, and Crocro's Adventure.
My Phone: Lets children make calls to selected contacts. You can use this app after adding contacts from the parental control screen. (Text messaging options are unavailable).
My Camera: Children can take photos and videos with their phones. With My Camera you can use a range of effects that add accessories such as glasses and hats by clicking the button in the upper left corner of the screen. You can also decorate backgrounds with a variety of stickers from Kids mode characters.
My Gallery: In My Gallery, you can view the pictures and videos you took with My Camera, as well as images and videos you can add through the parental control screen.
