Whatsapp scrolling

Did anyone have this problem?

Open group chat that unopen from entire night. When you open it, it open way up rather than the latest unread message? 

Kind of annoying when we have to scroll down to find the last unread/new message.

might be a bug.

mine marks the messages unread occasionally despite the chat hv been read.

we may wait for future update release from whatsapp developer.
